Working with Schools and Colleges
The Tourism Skills Network West of England works with Schools and Colleges to:

- Promote opportunities within the industry, signposting to relevant organisations and industry bodies.
- Establish links between educational establishments and tourism companies.
The services we can provide to Schools and Colleges include:
- Visiting schools, colleges and community groups and delivering presentations and activities to students that are informative, fun and can be geared to the curriculum.
- Arranging for trained employers to visit and deliver presentations using our specially designed careers speaker pack.
- Arranging for specially-trained hospitality apprentices aged 16-19 to give short presentations to school students about working in the tourism and hospitality industry.
- Attending careers and freshers' fairs.
